Aviary 4.0 at the North Dakota Museum of Art
Our public art piece Aviary, created by Michael Koch-Schulte and myself with the help of Lights Unlimited took on yet another form at the North Dakota Museum of Art. As part of their bi-annual auction, the installation took the form of electro-luminescent birds and our sound houses which focused on crow and raven calls from the Cornell Museum. The museum also had a show called the Rural Arts Initiative that is touring around the state featuring work I did at the McCanna House, the NDMA’s art residency program as well as the puppet Chaz, created by Curtis Wiebe for my video Dear Margery.
The museum also auctioned off a series of my steel crows. People love the crows. Message me if you need one for your yard or room!
