I love painting landscapes. I can sit in front of a canvas and meditate on a favorite place and the brush takes me there. Not that I get to sit in front of them for very long, people are snapping up these landscapes, dare I say before they even have time to dry!

This painting called Frankfurt, Along the Main is of the Main river that runs through Frankfurt. This one has had a lot of interest as of late….there’s something cold and lonely about Germany in January and I think I captured it here. The thing that warms it up for me is there’s a couple walking hand in hand at the corner of the painting. It currently hangs at The Falafel Place in Winnipeg but I have a feeling it’ll be gone soon.
